Stakeholders

The development of eKnowledgebank has been carried out as a collaboration between the major stakeholder, eKnowledge Corporation and Global Interactive Learning (GIL), a Malaysian MSC Status company.

GIL which has held the prestigious MSC status since 2002 has the major responsibility for providing direction for development of the system and is the master distributor for the Asia Pacific region.

GIL has extensive experience in developing structured learning, blended learning and online learning systems.

History

The development of eKnowledgebank began in earnest in 2007 as part of a Blended Learning approach to training.
In the same year the eKnowledgebank Online Learning System and the blended learning approach were taken up by a large Asian Regional bank for sales related training. This ongoing project has now seen some 1,700 plus sales people participating in the Online Learning and a 3 day face to face sales training program to develop skills and apply the sales principles, with great results.
In the first half of 2010 eKnowledgebank was used by the bank as part of a Sales Force Effectiveness project.   The project involved some 400 Branch and senior Managers participating in 7 sales related Online Learning Programs with each person having to complete the learning over a 5 week period.
Needless to say this project and its tight deadlines tested the robustness and effectiveness eKnowledgebank and proved the stability of the system.
eKnowledgebank was also taken up by a large international insurance company in 2008 as a means of providing online manuals to its staff and some 1,850 sales agents.
In summary, the eKnowledgebank Online Learning System has undergone extensive development and in field testing with some 4,000 users prior to being released to the general market, thus ensuring that new users will benefit quickly and safely.
