Entity and Course Functions
The Entity and Course functions are available only to authorized eKnowledgebank Administrators duly appointed by the Company. The functions cater for the creation and maintenance of the various entities and course related information.

Entities allow for reporting to be selected by Entity
Course functions allow standard Courses to be set up to reduce Administrator effort when assigning Courses or Programs to Users

Departments:
Allows the creation of Department names which can be assigned to Users. The main uses of Department are as a filter to review User Performance, to assign Programs to Users within a Department and to use as a search filter to display all Users within a Department.

Branch:
Allows the creation of Branch names which can be assigned to Departments and to Users. The main uses of Branch are as a filter to review User Performance, to assign Programs to Users within a Branch and to use as a search filter to display all Users within a Branch.

Projects:
Allows for the creation of company specified Projects. If you want to support multiple projects within your eKnowledgebank system, you set up a separate Project entry for each.

Positions:
Pre defined positions within the company can be set up such as Branch Manager, Customer Service Representative and then be assigned to Users. This can then be used to review User Performance by Position and to use as a search filter to display all Users for a given position.

Course Master:
Allows for the creation of master details for a specific Course. (E.G Induction Course) If you want to support multiple courses within your eKnowledgebank system, you set up a separate Course entry for each.
A course can have one or multiple Online Learning Programs associated with it. Online Learning Programs can be pre-allocated to Courses so that start and end dates can be automatically calculated when a Course is scheduled.

Course Schedule:
The same Course can be run many times during a year. The master information is contained in the Course Master record.
Each time a new Course is run it is given a Course Number and the start and completion dates.
